Trees of Music

This was another RAIN project. Trees of Music is a fundraising project of the RAIN organization that seeks to "empower local farmers in Espírito Santo, Brazil, in regenerating the Pernambuco tree and its ecosystem by planting 50,000 saplings," (treesofmusic.org). I designed the visual identity as well as a few icons for use on their website. Since the permambuco tree's wood is prized for its use in creating the bows used by string musicians, the desire was for the identity to convey a refined and flowing elegance that would resonate with the classical music community. The project has raised over 20,000 dollars so far.
