I created this custom typography for the visual identity of the 2019 Milwaukee AIGA Membership Party. Riffing off of the word "tribe," I was inspired by artists I discovered like Isidore Isou and João Rodrigues Vieira whose letterform paintings embraced a primal energy and a rudimentary approach to form that resonated with the concept of "tribal." The graphics were to be used on postcards, posters, t-shirts, etc.
